TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION

All competitors must register prior to the start of the Championship. Players that do not register may be disqualified. Official tournament registration will be held at Cordova Bay:

Monday, May 26              8:00am – 5:00pm (All participants must register by 5:00)

OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUND

All qualified players are entitled to a practice round at Cordova Bay Golf Club, Monday May 26, 2008. Please email  Jim Goddard, Golf Shop at jim.goddard@cordovabaygolf.com to book a tee time.

OPENING CEREMONIES AND WELCOME RECEPTION

The RCGA, the University of Victoria and Cordova Bay invite you to attend the Opening Flag Raising Ceremony, Monday May 26 at 6:00pm.  An informal reception will follow.  Players, coaches and guests are welcome to attend.

PLAYER’S DINNER

All competitors are invited to attend a player’s dinner on Wednesday May 28, following play (approximately 7:00pm).  Dinner is complimentary for players and coaches; however a fee will apply to guests in attendance.  Please notify officials at registration if you will be bringing a guest. Third round tee times will be available at the dinner.

STARTING TIMES                                     

Starting times for the first and second rounds will be made available at registration, in the RCGA Tournament Office and in the Cordova Bay Golf Shop on Monday May 26^th at 8:00 a.m. Third and final round starting times will be available in the evening preceding play at approximately 8:30 p.m. in the RCGA Tournament Office, the Cordova Bay Golf Shop, and on-line at www.rcga.org.

DRESS CODE

The RCGA Dress Code is in effect during the entire Championship. If you have any questions, please consult with an RCGA Tournament Official.

CLUBHOUSE FACILITIES

The Cordova Bay Clubhouse will be open daily at 6:00am.  The Clubhouse restaurant has a varied menu to serve the needs of players and guests throughout the week. Cash and Credit Cards will be accepted in both the Clubhouse restaurant and Golf Shop

PRACTICE FACILITIES

Practice facilities at Cordova Bay will be available to all tournament players for the duration of the Championship. Range will open each day at 6:30 am (except Monday at 7:30am) - balls are complimentary, courtesy of Cordova Bay and the University of Victoria.

LOCKERS & CLUB STORAGE

There is no club storage or lockers available at Cordova Bay.

NO SHOW POLICY              

If you find you cannot compete in the Championship, you must officially withdraw from the event by contacting Alison Turcotte at 800-263-0009 ext. 250.  This allows us to replace you with an alternate.  Failure to officially withdraw from the championship may result in DISQUALIFICATION from future RCGA and provincial competitions.
