| Detail: | Sault Ste. Marie Golf ClubSault Ste. September 8-12, 2008 TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION All competitors must register prior to the start of the Championship. Players that do not register may be disqualified. Official tournament registration will be held at the Sault Ste. Marie Golf Club: Monday, September 8 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (All participants must register by 5:00) OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUND All qualified players are entitled to a practice round at the Sault Ste. Marie Golf Club, Monday, September 8, 2008. Please call the Golf Shop at 705-759-5133 to book a time. INTER-PROVINCIAL TEAM MEMBERS PRACTICE ROUND Practice Round tee times for Provincial Team Members on Monday, September 8 are as follows: INTER-PROVINCIAL TEAM PHOTOGRAPHS Official Provincial Team photos will be taken promptly at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the Flag Raising Ceremony. PROVINCIAL TEAM MEMBERS ARE TO ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 5:00 FOR PICTURES AND TO RECEIVE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CEREMONY. OPENING CEREMONIES AND WELCOME RECEPTION The RCGA, host tournament committee, and the Sault Ste. Marie Golf Club invite you to attend the Opening Flag Raising Ceremony and Welcome Reception, Monday, September 8, 2008 at 6:00pm. All players and guests are welcome to attend. Dress is casual for all non-team participants. INTER-PROVINCIAL TEAM DINNER The host committee of Sault Ste. Marie Golf Club would like to extend an invitation to all Inter-Provincial Team members to attend the Inter-provincial Team Dinner, Monday September 8 at 7:30pm. This will be a jacket and tie affair. Seating is available for a limited number of guests – please confirm if you will have a guest at dinner – reservations will be taken on a first come first served basis – guest will be charged $45 to attend. INTER-PROVINCIAL TEAM AWARDS CEREMONY / RECEPTION The host committee of Sault Ste. Marie Golf Club would like to extend an invitation to all players to attend the Inter-provincial Team Awards Ceremony / Reception, Wednesday September 10 at 7:30pm. Dress is casual. HOST HOTEL The Holiday Inn Sault Ste. Marie, 705-949-0611 is the official host hotel for the championship – please refer to the 2008 Canadian Men’s Senior Championship when making your reservation. Additional rooms are available at the Quality Inn Bay Front, 705-945-9264. A shuttle service will be available between these hotels and the Sault Ste. Marie Golf Club. CAR RENTAL

If further information is needed please feel free to contact me STARTING TIMES Starting times for the first and second rounds will be made available at registration, in the RCGA Tournament Office and in the Golf Shop on Monday, September 8th, at 8:00 a.m. Second round Inter-Provincial Team, and individual third and final round starting times will be available in the evening preceding play at approximately 8:30 p.m. in the RCGA Tournament Office and in the Golf Shop, and after 9:00 p.m. at the host hotel. SPOUSES AND GUESTS The championship committee has planned some outings and functions for all guests during the week. Please refer to the Companion Sheet enclosed with the confirmation of your entry into the tournament. Please ensure the Companion Sheet information is returned to Bob McMenemy (rmcmenem@shaw.ca). Details will be confirmed at registration. DRESS CODE The RCGA dress code will be in effect throughout the Championship, including the practice rounds. The dress code will be posted at the championship site. CLUBHOUSE FACILITIES The Sault Ste. Marie Golf Club will be open daily at 6:00am. The clubhouse restaurant has a varied menu to serve the needs of players and guests throughout the week. Cash and Credit Cards will be accepted in both the Clubhouse and Golf Shop. PRACTICE FACILITIES Practice Facilities at the Sault Ste. Marie Golf Club will be available to all tournament players for the duration of the Championship. Range will open each day at 6:30am - balls are complimentary, courtesy of the host club and organizing committee. CARTS There are a limited number of carts available as the Sault Ste. Marie Golf Club is a very walkable golf course. All arrangements for carts should be made with the Golf Shop at 705-759-5133. You must pre-reserve power carts. Please make yourself familiar with the RCGA Transportation Policy. LOCKERS & CLUB STORAGE Sault Ste. Marie Golf Club has a limited number of lockers available. If you need to reserve a locker for the week, please make arrangements through the Golf Shop at 705-759-5133, no later than August 18, 2008. If you wish to have your clubs stored, please make these arrangements through the Golf Shop by August 18, 2008. NO SHOW POLICY If you find you cannot compete in the championship, you must officially withdraw from the event by contacting Alison Turcotte at 800-263-0009 ext. 250. If you cannot compete and do not withdraw, you may be subject to DISQUALIFICATION from future RCGA and provincial competitions.
