All participants are required to register with the RCGA Women’s Division prior to the competition during the listed time below. Players, who do not register at those times, without informing the officials, are subject to DISQUALIFICATION. Monday, August 25th – 11:00am - 5:00pm at the Bally Haly Golf & Curling Club OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUND
The official practice round is scheduled for Monday, August 25th. To schedule your round you must contact the Bally Haly Golf & Curling Club at: (709) 739-8100. These rounds can be booked one (1) week in advance. INTER-PROVINCIAL TEAM MEMBERS PRACTICE ROUND
Practice Round tee times for Provincial Team Members on Monday, August 25th are as follows: INTER-PROVINCIAL TEAM RECEPTION / PLAYER DINNER
The host committee of Bally Haly Golf & Curling Club would like to extend an invitation to all competitors to the Inter-Provincial Team Reception and Player Dinner on Wednesday, August 27th, following play (approximately 7:00pm). If players have guests please ensure you make reservations at registration on Monday. All guests are welcome and will be charged the RCGA cost per individual. INTER-PROVINCIAL TEAM PHOTOGRAPHS
Official Provincial Team photos will be taken promptly at 5:00 p.m. Monday, August 25th prior to the Flag Raising Ceremony. PROVINCIAL TEAM MEMBERS ARE TO ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 5:00 FOR PICTURES AND TO RECEIVE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CEREMONY. OPENING CEREMONIES / OPENING RECEPTION
The RCGA, host tournament committee, and the Bally Haly Golf & Curling Club invite you to attend the Opening Flag Raising Ceremony, Monday, August 25th at 6:00pm. All players and guests are welcome to attend. Dress is casual for all non-team participants. After completion of the Opening Ceremonies there will be a reception in the Bally Haly clubhouse. ***there will be a short player meeting at 6:45pm to go over the local rules*** HOST HOTEL
All team members will be staying in the Championship Host Hotel, the Holiday Inn – St. John’s. A block of rooms will be held until July 20, 2008 for non-team players to book their own accommodations Additionally, 10 rooms have been blocked at the Quality Hotel – Harbourview as another option to participants. When booking, please mention you are with the Royale Canadian Women’s Senior Championship. Starting times for the first and second rounds will be made available during registration on Monday, August 25th. Second round Inter-Provincial Team, and individual final round starting times will be available in the evening preceding play at approximately 8:30 p.m. in the RCGA Tournament Office and in the Golf Shop, and after 9:00 p.m. at the host hotel. TRANSPORTATION UPON ARRIVAL
Players will be flying into the CLUBHOUSE FACILITIES
The Bally Haly Golf & Curling Club will be open daily at 6:30am. The clubhouse restaurant has a varied menu to serve the needs of players and guests throughout the week. Cash and Credit Cards will be accepted in both the Clubhouse and Golf Shop. PRACTICE FACILITIES
Practice Facilities at the Bally Haly Golf & Curling Club will be available to all tournament players for the duration of the Championship. The range will open each day at 6:30am - balls are complimentary, courtesy of the host club and organizing committee. LOCKERS AND CLUB STORAGE
Bally Haly Golf & Curling Club does have lockers available for competitors to use. Arr NO SHOW POLICY
If you find you cannot compete in the championship, you must officially withdraw from the event by contacting Alison Turcotte at 800-263-0009 ext. 250. This allows us to replace you with an alternate. If you cannot compete and do not withdraw and are therefore a “no show”, you may be subject to DISQUALIFICATION from future RCGA and provincial competitions. HOW TO RECEIVE RESULTS
