TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION AND MANDATORY PLAYERS MEETING

All participants must register with the RCGA immediately following the Flag Raising Ceremony on Sunday, August 5th, in the Elm Ridge clubhouse. Players that do not register may be disqualified. The mandatory Players Meeting will follow registration. All players are required to attend this meeting.

OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUND

All competitors are entitled to one official practice round at Elm Ridge Country Club on Sunday, August 5th. Please contact the Elm Ridge Golf Shop at 514-626-3992. Please do not forward requests until after TBD.

Provincial Team members practice round

Practice Round tee times for Provincial Teams Members on Sunday, Aug. 5th, are as follows:

PROVINCIAL TEAM PHOTOGRAPHS

Official Provincial Team photos will be taken promptly at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 5^th prior to the Flag Raising Ceremony.

PROVINCIAL TEAM MEMBERS ARE TO ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 5:00 FOR PICTURES AND TO RECEIVE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CEREMONY.

INTER-PROVINCIAL TEAM DINNER

The Inter-Provincial Team Dinner will be held on Tuesday, August 7^th, at the Elm Ridge Country Club. The reception will begin at 7:00pm, followed by dinner at 7:30. This will be a jacket and tie affair for all teams, captains, and invited guests.

OPENING CEREMONIES AND WELCOME RECEPTION

The RCGA, host tournament committee, and the Elm Ridge Country Club invite you to attend the Opening Flag Raising Ceremony, Sunday, August 5 at 6:00pm. All players and guests are welcome to attend. Dress is casual for all non-team participants.  The reception follows the completion of the Ceremony. Players are requested to go immediately to Registration.

HOST HOTELS

The Holiday Inn Pointe-Claire ($110.00) 514-697-7110 (toll free 1-800-375-2680) is the host hotel for this championship – please refer to the 2007 Canadian Junior Boys Championship when making your reservation. Reservations must be made by July 15, 2007. A shuttle service will be available between this hotel and the Elm Ridge Country Club.

PLAYER HOUSING

Members of the Elm Ridge Country Club will be offering to house participants in the Canadian Junior Boys. Availability is limited, on a first come-first served basis. Please contact Player Services Contact, TBD at TBD@sympatico.ca to obtain further details.

STARTING TIMES
Starting times for the first and second rounds will be made available at registration on Sunday, August 5th, at 7:00 p.m. Second round Inter-Provincial Team, and individual third and final round starting times will be available in the evening preceding play at approximately 8:30 p.m. in the RCGA Tournament Office and in the Golf Shop, and after 9:00 p.m. at the host hotel.

JUNIOR CODE OF CONDUCT AND DRESS CODE

The RCGA Junior Code of Conduct is in effect during the entire championship. Violations of the Code of Conduct will be dealt with based on the severity of the misconduct. The RCGA Dress Code is in effect during the entire Championship. If you have any questions, please consult with an RCGA Tournament Official.

CLUBHOUSE FACILITIES

The Elm Ridge Country Club will be open daily at 6:00am. The clubhouse restaurant has a varied menu to serve the needs of players and guests throughout the week. Cash and Credit Cards will be accepted in both the Clubhouse and Golf Shop.   The TBD Room will be the player’s social room where scores and updates will be located.

PRACTICE FACILITIES

Practice Facilities at the Elm Ridge Country Club will be available to all tournament players for the duration of the Championship. The range will open each day at 6:00am - balls are complimentary, courtesy of the host club and organizing committee.

LOCKERS & CLUB STORAGE

Elm Ridge Country Club has a limited number of lockers available.  If you need to reserve a locker for the week, please make arrangements through the club office no later than July 18, 2007. If you wish to have your clubs stored, please make these arrangements through the club office at by July 18, 2007.

NO SHOW POLICY                 

If you find you cannot compete in the championship, you must officially withdraw from the event by contacting Alison Turcotte at 800-263-0009 ext. 250.  This allows us to replace you with an alternate.  If you cannot compete and do not withdraw and are therefore a “no show”, you may be subject to DISQUALIFICATION from future RCGA and provincial competitions.
