All participants are required to register with the RCGA prior to the competition during the listed time below. Players who do not register at those times, without informing the officials, are subject to DISQUALIFICATION. Monday, July 30th - 8:00am - 5:00pm at Granite Golf Club OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUND
All competitors are entitled to one official practice round at the Granite Golf Club on Monday, July 30, 2007. Please contact the Granite Golf Shop at 905-642-4416 x 2000. Please do not forward requests until after July 4, 2007. During the practice round, one hole will be chosen as a qualifier for a long drive competition to be held following the round (approximately 4:30 p.m.) and prior to the Opening Ceremony. Official Provincial Team photos will be taken promptly at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 1st prior to the Player Dinner. PROVINCIAL TEAM MEMBERS ARE TO ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 6:00 FOR PICTURES INTER-PROVINCIAL TEAM RECEPTION / PLAYER DINNER
The host committee of the Granite Golf Club would like to extend an invitation to all competitors to the Inter-Provincial Team Reception and Player Dinner on Wednesday, August 1, following play (approximately 7:00pm). If players have guests please ensure you make reservations at registration on Monday. All guests are welcome and will be charged the RCGA cost per individual. OPENING CEREMONIES
The RCGA, host tournament committee, and the Granite Golf Club invite you to attend the Opening Flag Raising Ceremony, Monday, July 30 at 6:00pm. All players and guests are welcome to attend. Dress is casual for all non-team participants. Players are requested to go immediately to the Mandatory Player Meeting (6:30 pm) to be followed by a reception and BBQ (7:00 pm). HOST HOTEL
The Delta - Markham ($117.00) 905-477-2010 or 800-333-3333 is the official host hotel for the championship - please refer to the 2007 Royale Cup National Women’s Amateur Championship when making your reservation. Reservations must be made by July 5th. A shuttle service will be available between this hotel and the Granite Golf Club. PLAYER HOUSING
Members of the Granite Golf Club will be offering to house participants in the Royale Cup National Women’s Amateur Championship. Availability is limited, on a first come-first served basis. Please contact Player Services - Ivy Steinberg at ivys@hughes.net or Christine Gibson at cpgibson@sympatico.ca to obtain further details. STARTING TIMES
Starting times for the first and second rounds will be made available during registration on Monday, July 30th. Second round Inter-Provincial Team, and individual third and final round starting times will be available in the evening preceding play at approximately 8:00 pm in the RCGA Tournament Office and in the Golf Shop, and after 9:00 pm at the host hotel. CODE OF CONDUCT AND RCGA WOMEN’S DIVISION DRESS CODE
The RCGA Code of Conduct is in effect during the entire championship. Violations of the Code of Conduct will be dealt with based on the severity of the misconduct. In addition, players and guests at all times are required to abide by the RCGA Women’s Division dress code. CADDIES
Caddies will be available to all participants who have indicated they require a caddie on the official entry form. The cost of a caddie is $40.00/round. Additional caddies are available on a first come - first served basis. You may also reserve a caddie by calling the Granite Golf Shop at 905-642-4416 x 2000 or contacting Caddie Chairman David Fritz at 905-642-4416 ext. 2001 or dfritz@graniteclub.com. Please indicate whether or not you will require a caddy for the practice round. CLUBHOUSE FACILITIES
The Granite Golf Club will be open daily at 6:30am. The clubhouse restaurant has a varied menu to serve the needs of players and guests throughout the week. Cash and Credit Cards will be accepted in both the Clubhouse and Golf Shop. The Player Lounge will be the player’s social room where scores and updates will be located. PRACTICE FACILITIES
Practice Facilities at the Granite Golf Club will be available to all tournament players for the duration of the Championship. The range will open each day at 6:30am - balls are complimentary, courtesy of the host club and organizing committee. There is also a 5-hole par-3 practice academy that will be available all week. LOCKERS AND CLUB STORAGE
Granite Golf Club has a limited number of lockers available. If you wish to reserve a locker for the week, or want to have your clubs stored, please make arrangements through the Golf Shop no later than July 7, 2007. NO SHOW POLICY
If you find you cannot compete in the championship, you must officially withdraw from the event by contacting Alison Turcotte at 800-263-0009 ext. 250. This allows us to replace you with an alternate. If you cannot compete and do not withdraw and are therefore a “no show”, you may be subject to DISQUALIFICATION from future RCGA and provincial competitions. HOW TO RECEIVE RESULTS
