| Detail: | Fact Sheet Gibsons, BC June 18-22, 2007 TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION All competitors must register prior to the start of the Championship. Players that do not register may be disqualified. Official tournament registration will be held at the Sunshine Coast Golf Club: Monday, June 18 8:00am - 5:00pm (All participants must register by 5:00) OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUND All players are entitled to a practice round at Sunshine Coast Golf Club, Monday, June 18, 2007. Please call the Golf Shop at 604-885-9212 to book a tee time. OPENING CEREMONIES AND WELCOME RECEPTION The RCGA, host tournament committee and the Sunshine Coast Golf Club invite you to attend the Opening Flag Raising Ceremony and player’s reception, Monday, June 18, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. All players and guests are welcome to attend. Dress is Casual. PLAYER’S RECEPTION AND DINNER The host committee of Sunshine Coast Golf Club would like to extend an invitation to all competitors to a player’s dinner on Wednesday, June 20, following play (approximately 7:00pm). The dinner will be held at the Sunshine Coast Golf Club. There is no charge for competitors, however guests must purchase dinner tickets at registration if they plan on attending. Dress is casual. HOST HOTEL The Cedars Inn ($106.00 - $146.00) 604-886-3008 or 888-774-7044, Bella Beach Inn ($79.00 - $129.00) 604-885-7191 or 800-665-1925, Driftwood Inn ($89.00 - $149.00) 604-885-5811 are the host hotels for this event. In addition to these local hotels, there are some smaller Bed & Breakfast accommodations available. For details on additional accommodations please contact Lucy / Bruce Pelly (Player Services) at blpelly@telus.net. The rooms are blocked under the RCGA Canadian Club Champions name until approx. May 23rd. STARTING TIMES Starting times for the first and second rounds will be made available at registration on Monday, June 20th, at 8:00 a.m. Third and final round starting times will be available in the evening preceding play at approximately 8:30 p.m. in the RCGA Tournament Office and in the Golf Shop, and after 9:00 p.m. at the host hotel. DRESS CODE The RCGA dress code is in effect during the entire championship. If you have any questions, please ask an RCGA tournament official. CADDIES Caddies will be available to all participants who have indicated they require a caddie on the official entry form. The cost of a caddie is $40.00/round. Additional caddies are available on a first come - first served basis. You may also reserve a caddie by calling the CLUBHOUSE FACILITIES The PRACTICE FACILITIES Practice Facilities at the Sunshine Coast Golf Club will be available to all tournament players for the duration of the Championship. Range will open each day at 6:30am - balls are complimentary, courtesy of the host club and organizing committee. NO SHOW POLICY If you find you cannot compete in the championship, you must officially withdraw from the event by contacting Alison Turcotte at 800-263-0009 ext. 250. This allows us to replace you with an alternate. If you cannot compete and do not withdraw and are therefore a “no show”, you may be subject to DISQUALIFICATION from future RCGA and provincial competitions.
