TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION

All competitors must register prior to the start of the Championship. Players that do not register may be disqualified. Official tournament registration will be held at Kingswood:

Monday, May 28              8:00am – 5:00pm (All participants must register by 5:00)

OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUND

All qualified players are entitled to a practice round at Kingswood, Monday May 28, 2007. Please call the Golf Shop at 506-443-3333 to book a tee time.

OPENING CEREMONIES AND WELCOME RECEPTION

The RCGA, the Host Club Tournament Committee and Kingswood invite you to attend the Opening Flag Raising Ceremony, Monday May 28 at 6:00pm.  An informal reception will follow. Players, coaches and guests are welcome to attend.

PLAYER’S DINNER

The Host Club Tournament Committee of Kingswood would like to extend an invitation to all competitors to attend a player’s dinner on Wednesday May 30, following play (approximately 7:00pm).  Dinner is complimentary for players and coaches; however a nominal fee will apply to guests in attendance.  Please notify officials at registration if you will be bringing a guest. Third round tee times will be available at the dinner.

CHAMPIONSHIP HOTEL

The Fredericton Inn 506-455-1430 is the official Championship Hotel - please refer to the 2007 Canadian University/College Championship when making your reservation. A shuttle service will be available between this hotel and Kingswood.

STARTING TIMES                                     

Starting times for the first and second rounds will be made available at registration, in the RCGA Tournament Office and in the Golf Shop on Monday May 28^th at 8:00 a.m. Third and final round starting times will be available in the evening preceding play at approximately 8:30 p.m. in the RCGA Tournament Office and in the Golf Shop, and after 9:00 p.m. at the Championship Hotel.

DRESS CODE

The RCGA Dress Code is in effect during the entire Championship. The Dress Code is available on the RCGA Web site (www.rcga.org) and will be supplied to each participant at registration. If you have any questions, please consult with an RCGA Tournament Official.

CLUBHOUSE FACILITIES

The Kingswood Clubhouse will be open daily at 6:00am.  The Clubhouse restaurant has a varied menu to serve the needs of players and guests throughout the week. Cash and Credit Cards will be accepted in both the Clubhouse restaurant and Golf Shop

PRACTICE FACILITIES

Practice facilities at Kingswood will be available to all tournament players for the duration of the Championship. Range will open each day at 6:30 am - balls are complimentary, courtesy of Kingswood and the Host Club Tournament Committee.

LOCKERS & CLUB STORAGE

Kingswood has a limited number of lockers available.  If you need to reserve a locker for the week, please make arrangements through the Golf Shop no later than May 1^st. If you wish to have your clubs stored, please make these arrangements through the Golf Shop no later than May 1^st.

NO SHOW POLICY             

If you find you cannot compete in the Championship, you must officially withdraw from the event by contacting Alison Turcotte at 800-263-0009 ext. 250.  This allows us to replace you with an alternate.  If you cannot compete and do not withdraw and are therefore a “no show”, you may be subject to DISQUALIFICATION from future RCGA and provincial competitions.
